I accidentally double ordered this item to compliment my Greenworks 80v tool professional set. I use these items for farm maintenance and have found them very tough and durable with excellent battery life. Description The Greenworks 80 volt cordless trimmer type GD80BC (formerly 2100607), and edger is supplied without battery and charger. The DIGIPRO carbon brush free motor provides 30% extra power and 70% less vibration. The difference with the regular trimmer is the much more powerful motor and the robust trimming head where you can choose trimming with wire or trimming with a knife. The handle is also placed differently than with a trimmer, so the machine can really be used as a brushcutter. The machine is also equipped with a carrying strap. The cutting width is 38cm and it has a 2mm double cutting wire. The bump feed system provides easy wire feeding when worn. The big advantage of a battery brushcutter compared to a petrol brushcutter is the lower weight, no exhaust fumes and much less noise. The machine is also equipped with a variable speed. The weight is 6.8 Kg. If you are going to use the 80 volt 2.0 Ah lithium ion battery, you will give this approximately 45 minutes working time.

The Greenworks 80 volt trimmer is comparable to a 32cc petrol trimmer. The 80 VOLT Lithium ION batteries provide a very long trim time with extremely high speed.

The trimmer cutting width is 38cm and it is equipped with a bump feed wire feeder with 2mm double cutting wire, a trimming knife and a variable speed. The weight is 9.5 Kg (incl 2.0 Ah battery). The 80 Volt 2.0 Ah battery can also be used in 7 other Greenworks garden machines such as a hedge trimmer, leaf blower, lawn mower and chainsaw. This range will be further expanded in the coming years.

The machine is delivered without a battery and charger. The battery is equipped with 3 LED lights which indicate the amount of energy. The charging time is 30 minutes. All 80 Volt Greenworks machines can be used with an 80 Volt 2.0 Ah battery and 80 volt 4.0Ah battery.
